Technology: Building a Windows Server 2012 RemoteApp server

I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving.   I did.  I took a week off.

With Surface RT releasing, some of my customers were asking if they could get Outlook on the Surface RT device.  Surface RT comes with Word 2013, Excel, 2013, and Powerpoint 2013.  However, Outlook 2013 is not installed on Surface RT.   There is a Windows 8 Mail and Calendar application.

However, some customers wanted to get the Outlook application on the Surface RT device.  The solution is . . . Publishing Outlook as a remote application that is accessible via a web browser.  In this post, I will walk through the steps of setting up a Remote App server using Windows Server 2012.  I will need to test the configuration out in a follow-up post.
